Culture
Atitudes
Attitudes are subtlety developed, but they become the grid through which we intrepret everything. That’s why it is important to examine them.
In The News
“In The News” topics stir us up and the internet becomes abuzz. Unfortunately, most of the conversations generate more heat than light. I hope these posts are at least a little enlightneing.
People
People are the most amazing thing of all to write about. Here are some of my favorite people.
Travel
This travelogue will take you a few of the places I have been. I hope you enjoy the trip.

Aging
Aging is something we are all doing. How can we deal with the aging and eventual death of the people we love? How can we handle the inevitable with grace and love?
Christmas
Christmas is an amazing thing in its origins, but honestly, for us, it can get pretty messed up. So, it is quite a remarkable mish-mash for us to try to process. I hope these thoughts help.
Local Interest
The local interest category is about people, places and issues in Northeaster Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin. That’s where I live in the upper midwest/Great Lakes region, in the far north suburbs of Chicago on the Wisconsin border, near the shores of Lake Michigan.
My Story
My story could possibly be a little like your story. If that is the case, then it could do both of us some good for me to write this stuff down.
Summer
Summer is a reoccurring theme in all of my writing. I am a warm weather weather guy. If I wrote something about winter, it probably wouldn’t be very nice.
Writing
Writing is one of the great joys of my life. You might want to give it try.

Books
Books is a section where I post something related to my personal reading. It’s great learning from others.
Fiction
Fiction is me stretching my wings as a writer and reporting other good novels I have read.
Kenosha News Column
I really enjoyed writing a column for the Kenosha (Wisconsin) News. I hope you like reading them.
My Books
Here is more information about the two books I have published about my faith journey.
Synchroblog
A synchroblog is simply several writers writing about the same topic in the same time frame. I did it for years and loved it. Be sure and check out the other writers’ contributions.
