I am in love with the art of creating something of beauty and value with words.
This site is the platform for all of my writing. You’ll find posts about how I transitioned from a religious insider who championed the institutional church to a religious renegade who scrutinizes the way the faith is expressed; but still loves Jesus. Also, I write about national issues and cultural trends, along with other things that intrigue me or trouble me.
I was a part of a group of bloggers who wrote on various topics from month to month for several years. It’s called a synchroblog. Also, for nearly five years, I was a regular columnist for the Kenosha (Wisconsin) News. Those writings are shared here, as well.
Lastly, I have published two books about my spiritual journey, An Irreligious Faith and Free Range Faith. Some other books are currently in various stages of development.
